Retention Period
Personal information shall only be retained for as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the declared, specified, and legitimate purpose. Information documents should be retained for five (5) years from the date of termination of your account or your last transaction date, except for certain information that requires us to be maintained for regulatory compliance purposes following the retention period prescribed by the government authorities.
Disposal
After expiration of the retention period, Royal shall immediately destroy or dispose of any file or storage device containing personal information in a secure manner in accordance with its classification and associated disposal guidelines. Under the DPA, you have the following rights:

3. Right to Access. Upon request of the data subject, you are given the right to reasonable access and the processing of your personal data, which may include contents of personal data, the manner of processing, sources where they were obtained, recipients, and the reason for disclosure, if applicable.
4. Right to Rectification (dispute and/or correct). You have the right to dispute the inaccuracy or error in the personal data and have the personal information processor correct it immediately and accordingly.
5. Right to Data Erasure. As data subject, you also have the right to suspend, withdraw, or order the blocking, removal, or destruction of his/her personal data from the filing system of Royal.
6. Right to Damages. As data subject, you have the right to be indemnified for any damages sustained due to such inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained, or unauthorized use of personal data.
7. Right to Data Portability. You have the right to obtain from the personal information processor a copy of such data in an electronic or structured format that is commonly used and allows for further use by the data subject.
8. Right to File a Complaint. As data subject, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if his/her personal information has been misused, maliciously disclosed, or improperly disposed, or if any of his/her data privacy rights have been violated.
